K5990 is the new compact entry-level equipment with high performance. Designed for the medical sector, it also finds application in all other sectors such as automotive, hydraulic, pneumatic and home appliance.

Application Sectors

Entry-Level Solution without Compromise
The K5990 is designed for those seeking an absolute pressure decay leak testing equipment that is compact and high-performing. It represents the perfect balance between ease of use and the precision typical of ForTest’s high-end instruments.

Ultra-Compact and Lightweight Design
With extremely reduced dimensions (160x140x180 mm) and a weight of only 2.5 kg, the K5990 is the ideal solution for manual testing stations. It is particularly suitable for the medical sector and for all applications where space is limited but test quality is a priority.

Touch Interface and High Resistance
Despite its size, it offers an advanced interface: 3.5″ color display with capacitive touch-screen, dynamic LED bar and backlit keyboard. Everything is protected by an elegant tempered glass panel, resistant and easy to clean.

Technical Equipment and Programs
The equipment includes as standard the Stäubli®® fitting for connecting calibrated leaks and a USB port for saving test data and firmware updates. It manages up to 100 test programs and is equipped with a high-precision manual pressure regulator.

Connectivity and Measurement Range
The K5990 ensures excellent integration thanks to I/O ports, RS232, RS485 and USB (with Ethernet available as optional). Operational flexibility is ensured by measurement scales that cover a range from -1 to 10 bar.

  • The flow measurement of the flow meters is of mass type and referred to the reference condition of 0°C - 1013,25mbar.
