For those seeking even higher productivity in leak testing, the solution is a dual-channel equipment like K7890, which incorporates 2 independent measurement channels in a standard chassis, allowing simultaneous testing of 2 parts.

Application Sectors

Compact Design and Dual-Channel Performance
The K7890 represents ForTest’s latest innovation in the field of leak testing. While integrating dual-channel technology, the equipment is housed in the same ultra-compact case as the single-channel K8990 model, establishing itself as the most compact device in its category. This configuration is ideal for testing pairs of headlights or dual-chamber components, allowing test times to be halved without sacrificing the flexibility and reliability that distinguish the K series.

User Interface and Industrial Robustness
The user experience is revolutionized by a next-generation HMI. The front panel in tempered glass, designed to withstand continuous cycles in harsh production environments, houses a 5.7″ color TFT display with capacitive touch interface. Control is made even more intuitive by a dynamic LED bar for immediate process monitoring and a backlit keyboard.

Pneumatic Configuration and Precision
The K7890 offers versatility in pressure management, with measurement scales covering a range from –1 to 15 bar. The equipment is available with two regulation modes: high-precision manual or automatic electronic. The standard configuration includes 300 configurable test programs, a USB port for data logging, and a dedicated Stäubli®® fitting for connecting calibrated leaks for periodic calibration verification.

Total Connectivity and 4.0 Integration
On the communication front, the K7890 has no limits. In addition to standard interfaces such as Ethernet, RS232, RS485 and USB, the device integrates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi wireless modules. For perfect interoperability with PLC, SCADA and MES systems in an Industry 4.0 perspective, the equipment is expandable with the main fieldbus protocols, including Modbus RTU, Profinet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT.
