Stability and Control through Electronic Regulation
The strength of the T8920 lies in its automatic electronic pressure regulator. Unlike traditional equipment with manual regulation, this system dynamically compensates for pressure variations during the filling cycle. The result is unparalleled test repeatability, essential when operating on components with significant volumes where even minimal fluctuation of the initial pressure could alter the leak testing outcome.
Metrological Precision and Advanced Shielding
The T8720 adopts the most sophisticated measurement section in the ForTest range. Thanks to windowed centering technology and double optoisolated Faraday cage, the equipment drastically reduces electronic noise. This allows achieving a real resolution of 0.1 Pa, guaranteeing settling times under 18 ms and constant reading stability, even in industrial environments characterized by strong electromagnetic interference.
Ergonomic Design and “HMI”
User Interface Operator interaction is handled by the ForTest HMI system, which features a large 6.2″ high-resolution display. The “total glass” front panel made of tempered glass not only provides superior protection against mechanical and chemical wear, but also houses a responsive capacitive keyboard. The graphic interface simplifies the management of 300 test programs and allows detailed leak graphs to be displayed for immediate diagnostics.
Total Integration and Digital Traceability
Designed as the beating heart of automatic testing systems, the T8720 offers complete connectivity. In addition to the USB ports (Master and Slave), RS232 and RS485 provided as standard, the equipment can be configured with the main fieldbus systems such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. Data management is simplified by the ability to export test logs to USB drive, ensuring full compliance with the traceability protocols required by modern industrial standards.
