T8970 is an equipment for gas leak testing (gas manifolds, nozzles, cooktops or repair stations) with continuous measurement, designed for industrial applications and production lines.

Automatically starts the test upon connection and displays the leak value in real-time directly in cc/h or cc/min, ensuring rapid and reliable leak testing control.

The high measurement precision, combined with an optimized pneumatic section, enables faster test cycles without compromising result stability. The extensive industrial connectivity and intuitive interface make the T8970 easily integrable into complex automation systems.

Specialized in Continuous Measurement
The T8970 is a unique leak testing equipment, designed to perform continuous measurement tests. It is the ideal solution for testing complex components such as gas manifolds, where it is necessary to quickly verify the leak tightness of different nozzles and valves in sequence.

Cycle Speed and Real-Time Testing
Thanks to continuous measurement technology, the equipment automatically starts the test as soon as the gas supply connection is detected. Leak data is displayed in real-time, allowing the operator to intervene immediately for repairs or component adjustments without interrupting the cycle.

Intelligent Electronic Regulation
The T8970 integrates as standard an automatic electronic regulator, which ensures extremely stable and consistent pressure management. This function is fundamental during the opening phases of the manifold valves, guaranteeing dynamic compensation and precise readings.

Volumetric Measurement Unit
To meet gas industry regulatory standards, the volumetric measurement function is included as standard. The equipment allows direct visualization of leakage in flow rate units such as cc/h or cc/min, facilitating immediate compliance with testing specifications.

Unlimited Connectivity for Industry 4.0
Like the rest of the T Series, the T8970 also offers a complete set of interfaces: USB ports (serial and mass storage), RS232, RS485 and industrial protocols such as Profinet, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT. The front USB port allows test saving, parameter backup/restore and rapid firmware updates.

Precision and Design Excellence
Despite the specificity of continuous measurement, the equipment features ForTest’s most advanced measurement section, with dual Faraday cage technology to eliminate electronic interference.
