T8990 is a universal equipment for absolute pressure drop leak testing, designed to offer the highest level of human-machine interaction thanks to the new “ForTest HMI” interface.

Equipped with a 6.2″ color display behind a tempered glass panel with capacitive touchscreen, the device allows for rapid prograHMIng and clear visualization of test cycles, making it ideal for both laboratories and intensive production lines.

Thanks to its robust aluminum and glass structure, the T8990 combines modern design with ease of cleaning and maintenance that ensures its reliability over time.

The technological evolution of the M8990.
The T8990 was created to surpass the performance of the most iconic device in ForTest’s history. Designed as the new universal standard for pneumatic testing, this equipment combines unparalleled construction solidity with the most advanced digital innovations, ensuring excellence in quality control for modern industry.

High Resolution Measurement Section
The technological heart of the T8990 offers the world’s most advanced measurement section. Thanks to windowing centering technology and dual opto-isolated Faraday cage, the equipment guarantees a true resolution of 0.1 Pa at 1 bar, with settling times under 18 ms and reading stability free from electronic interference.

High Pressure Pneumatic Circuit
To optimize productivity, the T8990 features a pneumatic section with new generation solenoid valves. This allows a filling speed up to 4 times higher than standard, making it ideal also for testing large volumes without penalizing line cycle times.

Connectivity and Total Integration
The equipment is ready for Industry 4.0 with a complete interface package: USB CDC Type-B, RS232, RS485, and front USB MSC Type-A port for data saving. All major fieldbus options are available, including Profinet, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT, ensuring full compatibility with PLCs from leading global manufacturers.

“Smart” Functions and Data Management
The main screen provides immediate access to quick functions such as program switching, intelligent test archive menu, and password lock/unlock. The internal software automatically manages connections to thermal printers, barcode readers, and marking machines, ensuring complete traceability of every tested part.

  • The flow measurement of the flow meters is of mass type and referred to the reference condition of 0°C - 1013,25mbar.
  • Flow measurement of leak test equipment is volumetric.
  • Accuracy data are referred to and guaranteed under laboratory calibration conditions.
  • The accuracy of the flow measurement is referred up to 2 bar, for higher pressures variations are possible depending on the characteristics of the model.
